What is it?
Member's Mark Community is an online community for an exclusive set of Sam's Club members to voice their opinions on all things Sam's Club related. Members are asked to participate in activities (surveys, chats, discussions) on a variety of topics.
What happens with my opinions after I share them?
Great question! Your opinions will be collected along with those of others just like you and reported in aggregate (not linked to you individually) and shared directly with decision makers within Sam's Club to inform decisions made about products offered, communications, packaging, and many more!
Who manages it?
An independent research consultancy, Reach3 Insights, manages the Member's Mark Community community and this site. We are based in Chicago, IL and are passionate about connecting shoppers and brands to start authentic, two-way conversations. We also like a good book from time to time and long walks on the beach.
How do I log in?
To login to your Member's Mark Community account, click the Sign In button above and enter your email address and password as prompted. Once signed-in, you will be able to view or edit your profile, account information (such as name or email address), as well as see which activities you've been invited to.
What if I forgot my password?
Don't worry! If you forgot your password, you can reset your password here.
At any time you can simply click on the 'Forgot your password?' link located below the login area on the mymembersmark.samsclub.com home page.
You will be prompted to provide your email address, and once submitted, you will receive an email with further instructions on resetting your password.
How long do I remain a member?
You will remain a Member's Mark Community member as long as you are an active participant or until you decide to unsubscribe. To be considered an active member, you must participate in at least one activity in the last 6 consecutive months. If not, you may be asked again to confirm your interest in being part of the community and encouraged to participate.
How do I unsubscribe?
You may unsubscribe from the Member's Mark Community community at any time. There are two ways you can unsubscribe:
- Click 'unsubscribe' in any email communications received from Member's Mark Community.
- Contact our support team at support@mymembersmark.com and request to be unsubscribed.
How can I find/participate in surveys or activities?
When invited to participate in a survey or activity, you will receive an invitation either via email or SMS (text) message to alert you that a new survey that is relevant to you is available.
You can also check to see which surveys or activities you've been invited to by logging into your account on mymembersmark.samsclub.com and navigating to the ‘My Surveys' area on your member dashboard.
You talk about surveys and “activities” – what does that mean?
Glad you asked! We will be inviting you to participate in surveys, but there are some cases where a more traditional survey isn't what the doctor ordered. So, these activities might be online discussion forums to deep-dive on a topic, online focus groups, product trials, conversational chats, 1:1 webcam interviews, etc. Our mission is to hear about the opinions and experiences from members like yourself, encouraging a two-way conversation, which in some cases means connecting with you outside of the constraints of a more traditional survey.
Will I be rewarded for sharing my thoughts?
The short answer: ABSOLUTELY! The longer answer is that we will have a points program, so the more that you participate the more rewards you will earn! Each activity will be worth a certain number of points, generally linked to the time commitment for that activity. In some cases, you may be rewarded with exclusive access to products that are not yet available for purchase at Sam's Club, and other more exclusive opportunities. Whatever the reward, you will be clearly notified of what it is when invited to participate.
How do points work?
All active members will obtain a points account in which you will be eligible to earn points from completing the surveys and activities you are invited to participate in. Each time you complete a survey or activity, your account will be updated and credited. The number of points received for each survey may vary and will be announced prior to each survey.
How can I check my points balance?
To check your points balance, login to your account at mymembersmark.samsclub.com and navigate to the 'My Points' area on your member dashboard.
How can I redeem my points?
When your account reaches the point equivalent of $10 (i.e. 1000 points) you may redeem your points. You can do this directly from the ‘My Points' area on your member dashboard by clicking the ‘Redeem' button and following the instructions. Redeeming points in amounts less than $10 is not permitted.
Do my points expire?
Points never expire as long as you continue to be an active member of Member's Mark Community and as long as the points program remains in effect. However, if you unsubscribe or if your membership is terminated, your points account will be closed and all points will be forfeited.
How is my personal privacy protected?
Protecting our members is extremely important to us! As such, we want to assure you that your personal information will not be shared with third parties unless you give explicit permission, so you will not receive spam as a result of your participation in Member's Mark Community. How is my personal information used?
Any personal information we collect remains completely confidential and is strictly used for research and analysis purposes only. Some of the information we collect allows us to analyze results by subgroups, so your answers can be grouped together with other members who completed the same survey or activity.
